Site Reliability Engineer (GCP) - Remote

About the role

As a Site Reliability Engineer (GCP), you join the client's team and work daily alongside their designers and engineers. The position is remote and open to candidates in Latin America.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in site reliability engineering, infrastructure engineering or backend engineering.
• Advanced English and a completed four-year college degree.
• Experience owning production reliability, incident response, on-call operations and service availability.
• Ability to work through difficult issues, take ownership of work and work on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the country of the posting on a full-time basis; FullStack does not sponsor work visas.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, GCS, compute, networking, managed services).
• Monitoring, alerting and observability with Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, Datadog or similar.
• Scripting and automation in Python, Bash or similar.
• Docker, containerized workloads and CI/CD pipelines.
• Root cause analysis, incident prevention and blameless postmortems.
• PostgreSQL performance tuning and infrastructure scalability and cost optimization.
• Nice to have: Terraform, AI agent development for alert triage, ML/data infrastructure support, and experience with Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI or Copilot CLI.
