Shift Assistant / Zone 1

About the role

The Shift Assistant supports the Station Manager in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations of a service station and its retail area. You will oversee daily activities, monitor inventories, and enforce HSE and HACCP standards to guarantee high‑quality service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shift activities in line with company policies, safety manuals, and operational procedures.
• Monitor fuel and product inventories, conduct tank measurements, and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Supervise fuel deliveries, verify correct tank loading, and prevent over‑fills or contamination.
• Manage cash handling, reconcile sales, and oversee financial transactions with service representatives.
• Inspect and maintain the operational condition of all station equipment and facilities.
• Record purchases, audit sales, and control inventory accuracy.
• Report and coordinate repairs, supervising external contractors when needed.
• Handle customer complaints and suggestions, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in recruitment, staff administration, and performance evaluation.
• Support HSE and HACCP initiatives, conduct drills, and follow up on audit action plans.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks.
• Experience in retail or service‑station environments is preferred.
• Good understanding of safety, environmental, and food‑handling regulations.
• Ability to work on‑site, often in a fast‑paced setting.
