Service Technician SVO

About the role

The Service Technician SVO is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through high‑quality service, accurate reporting, and safe on‑site operations. You will act as an ambassador for KONE, maintaining strong relationships with customers, contacts, and end‑users while safeguarding equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute planned maintenance, call‑outs, and unplanned repairs while respecting schedules, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Provide real‑time back‑reporting of work performed at the equipment level to ensure data accuracy in e‑Optimum and customer notifications.
• Manage on‑site environment, identify and communicate risks, and take immediate action on high‑risk situations following escalation procedures.
• Maintain proximity stock, request spare parts, and keep service tools, van and instruments in good condition.
• Raise sales leads, submit timesheets, and regularly update the service supervisor on relevant information.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety, with an ambassador attitude toward clients.
• Ability to plan workload effectively and work independently on site.
• Willingness to attend training on lift technology and, when needed, coach nominated colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using service reporting systems such as e‑Optimum.
• Knowledge of lift equipment, associated technology and maintenance instructions.
