Service Specialist – Google Business Profiles

About the role

Thryv is looking for a Service Specialist to educate and support clients with Google Business Profiles (GBP). The role focuses on client satisfaction, engagement, and retention across all spend levels while working in a fun, remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own support requests for GBP and Managed GBP products, setting clear expectations for resolution timelines.
• Educate clients on Google best practices, demonstrate solutions, and recommend options to resolve GBP issues.
• Conduct outbound calls after previewing client profiles, update GBP information, and provide guidance through knowledge centers, videos, and email.
• Facilitate inbound issue resolution, troubleshoot, replicate problems, and work with Google to achieve resolutions.
• Build rapport and trust with clients and internal partners, ensuring follow‑up and issue closure.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Up to 2 years of related experience (2+ years preferred).
• Strong English communication skills and bilingual ability in Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote‑first environment.
