Senior Sales Manager - Energy Storage, Dominican Republic

About the role

Pylontech, a pioneer of innovative energy storage solutions, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive its growth in the Dominican Republic across the commercial and industrial (C&I) and residential sectors. The role covers lead generation, proposal and contract work, client relationship management and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate leads through networking, industry events, trade shows, online platforms and referrals, and assess potential clients' energy storage needs
• Develop and execute a business development plan for new C&I and residential energy storage projects, working with internal teams so offerings match client needs and market trends
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, acting as the primary contact throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and deliver proposals, bids and tender responses, customizing specifications, pricing and financial analyses
• Lead contract negotiations, collaborating with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts
• Partner with engineering, project management and operations teams, giving technical input on feasibility and timelines
• Expand the professional network through conferences, seminars and industry associations, and monitor market developments, policy changes and emerging technologies

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, project management or a related field; experience in energy storage project development preferred
• Minimum 3 years in business development or project management in the energy storage or renewable energy sectors
• Fluency in English and Spanish is essential
