Senior Product Line Support Engineer

About the role

The Senior Product Line Support Engineer provides technical design support for existing products across manufacturing, marketing and engineering functions. The role leads and participates in extending current product lines and developing new products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop projects through the Pro Launch System, focusing on product improvements.
• Ensure technical soundness of design decisions to facilitate manufacturing, reduce cost, substitute materials, improve quality and meet special customer needs.
• Prevent and correct manufacturing issues that affect product functionality.
• Plan and execute design strategies that minimize cycle time and cost.
• Support quality specifications of existing products and perform laboratory testing.
• Review, control and maintain the deviation system and generate required reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants to introduce products trouble‑free.
• Monitor breaker testing results, align product enhancements, and reduce third‑party holds.
• Interface with test labs, US engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance to resolve product holds and establish process controls.
• Use PRO Launch for new product development and product line transfer while complying with EQS, Lean and Pro‑Launch procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar engineering support role.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environment (EHS) inspections and training.
