Senior Product Development Engineer

About the role

Integer is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead product development and design initiatives across its medical device and advanced battery divisions. The role focuses on delivering innovative solutions that meet internal and external customer expectations while adhering to stringent regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex product development challenges and drive technological advancement.
• Lead and manage projects, including planning, execution, and risk mitigation, often coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending best practices and new equipment procurement.
• Develop and author technical documentation such as protocols, specifications, reports, and work instructions.
• Supervise up to five technicians or associate engineers, providing coaching and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, FDA regulations, safety, environmental, and security requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in product development or design engineering, preferably within medical devices, energy, or defense sectors.
• Proven ability to lead projects of moderate complexity and influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of developing innovative solutions to high‑profile problems.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to Integer’s core values of collaboration, integrity, and candor.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with safety, environmental, and security management standards.
• Technical writing proficiency for protocols, specifications, and reports.
