Senior Medicaid Case Manager

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, highly organized, and detail‑oriented Senior Medicaid Case Manager to guide seniors and their families through the Medicaid application process.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the financial documentation process managed by the support team and review 3‑5 years of bank statements, asset disclosures, tax returns, and legal documents.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the entire application package, ensuring compliance with state regulations and deadlines.
• Conduct sensitive interviews with seniors and families, explaining complex rules in simple terms and providing a calm, reassuring presence.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, financial institutions, legal representatives, and the Medicaid office to resolve queries.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in case management, social work, elder law, or medical billing.
• Direct experience with long‑term care Medicaid applications is highly preferred.
• Extreme attention to detail and strong critical‑thinking skills.

Required skills

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain dense legal/financial jargon in simple terms.
