Senior Manager Program Launch Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead program launch operations across our manufacturing sites. The role combines operational excellence, technical development, and industrial transfer coordination to ensure efficient, on‑time production ramp‑up. You will work closely with plant leadership, engineering, quality, supply chain and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead scrap reduction and productivity improvement programs using Lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping.
• Establish performance roadmaps, sustainable action plans and coach plant leadership on best‑practice sharing.
• Assess competency gaps, coordinate technical training, develop structured problem‑solving capabilities and mentor future operational leaders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities for industrial transfers, maintain detailed transfer plans, milestones and risk reviews, and manage launch readiness, validation and production ramp‑up.
• Support European manufacturing footprint optimization, lead special projects assigned by business unit leadership and contribute to the global automation strategy for Europe.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational excellence and Lean manufacturing within an industrial environment.
• Strong track record of managing complex industrial transfers and launch projects.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills with the ability to influence plant management.
• Solid understanding of technical training development and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary, matrixed organization.
