Senior Manager Finance

About the role

The Senior Manager Finance leads the financial analysis team, partnering with division presidents and senior leadership to drive profitability and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze monthly financial results, trends and metrics and present net results to Division Presidents.
• Communicate key drivers of the profit and loss statement, including sales, AGM, customer drivers and adjustments.
• Support the Director and business partners on ad‑hoc projects, new initiatives, system integrations and major change management.
• Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, training, performance management and staffing.
• Perform ROI analysis, scenario modeling and provide decision support for future planning and investments.
• Lead quarterly and monthly financial business reviews with divisions and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA preferred).
• At least 7 years of financial planning, reporting or analysis experience, with 5+ years advising P&L owners.
• Proven experience leading profit‑improvement initiatives and strategic decision‑making.
• Experience managing people, including hiring, developing and motivating staff.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with ERP financial systems.
