Senior Java Tech Lead (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a hands‑on Senior Java Tech Lead to drive the architecture and delivery of a reactive, event‑driven platform. You will work remotely, collaborating with a global team of top‑tier engineers and product stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own service architecture and API contracts for a Spring Reactive microservices platform.
• Enforce Domain‑Driven Design principles across the engineering team.
• Integrate frontend applications with Spring Reactive services streaming through Kafka.
• Define engineering standards for testing, code reviews, observability, and security.
• Guide CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and release practices on cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Mentor engineers and translate ambiguous requirements into actionable deliverables.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot with Spring Reactive.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka or a comparable messaging platform.
• Experience with Angular (v18) and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of Domain‑Driven Design, microservices, and cloud‑native architecture.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency for cross‑team leadership and client interactions.
