Senior Java Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our remote team and work on security remediation for critical financial platforms. You will analyze flagged security findings, determine real vulnerabilities, and apply secure coding practices across Java services and React front‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze flagged security findings to identify genuine vulnerabilities.
• Remediate security issues in Java back‑end services.
• Remediate security issues in React front‑end applications.
• Apply secure coding standards throughout development and remediation.
• Collaborate with the security team to prioritize and resolve findings efficiently.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Demonstrated experience in application security, secure coding, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with React.
• Availability to work Eastern time‑zone hours.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
