Senior IT Systems Engineer (MSP)

About the role

Tecnepi is looking for an experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer to provide technical support and infrastructure management for its clients. The ideal candidate can independently troubleshoot complex issues, manage Microsoft environments, maintain secure infrastructure and support several business clients. The position is based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support and resolve escalated issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and Intune.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Troubleshoot networking, firewalls, VPNs and remote access.
• Support endpoint security, backups, patching and infrastructure maintenance.
• Execute IT projects, migrations and system deployments.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ticket records.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IT experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, VPNs and endpoint management.
• Excellent English communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client environments.
• Must reside in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
