Senior Industrialization Engineer

About the role

The Senior Industrialization Engineer will lead manufacturing and industrialization activities for new product introduction (NPI) projects, guiding them from concept through release for production. The role is responsible for developing robust manufacturing processes, creating required documentation, and providing technical design support to ensure successful launches while meeting safety, quality, cost, and schedule expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development and procurement of prototype and production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Provide technical input on design decisions and product changes to improve manufacturability, reduce cost, and meet special customer requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability and implement Industry 4.0 solutions for NPI projects.
• Lead prototype builds and pilot production line development, establishing process controls, work instructions, and standard work.
• Drive production readiness, validation, and issue resolution across all plant functions.
• Collect and analyze early product and process performance data using Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methods.
• Manage product cost and capital expense forecasts, supporting cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or plant‑operations environment.
• Fluent English (bilingual preferred).

Required skills

• Production tooling and assembly fixture development.
• Electro‑mechanical component and assembly knowledge.
• Interpretation of part/assembly drawings and bills of materials.
• Microsoft O365, Power Apps, Power BI.
• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, VA/VE, capability studies, gage R&R.
• Shop‑floor control, barcoding, product/process traceability.
• Core feeder processes: molding, stamping, turning, machining, brazing/welding.
