Senior Ariba IT Support Developer

About the role

The Senior Ariba IT Support Developer leads the design, delivery, and technical ownership of solutions on Carrier's SAP Ariba procurement platform. As a recognized subject‑matter expert, the role architects complex multi‑module solutions, drives platform reliability, mentors developers, and partners with Procurement, Finance, and IT leadership to shape the Ariba roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect SAP Ariba solutions across modules (Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle, Ariba Network) ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Serve as the top technical escalation point for cross‑module issues, leading root‑cause analysis and permanent resolution.
• Develop and govern integrations between Ariba and SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC via CIG, middleware, and APIs, establishing integration standards and monitoring.
• Own high‑severity vendor escalations, manage strategic vendor engagement, and lead quarterly release cycles end‑to‑end.
• Mentor junior developers and support analysts, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• 8‑10+ years of hands‑on experience supporting, configuring, and developing on SAP Ariba across multiple modules.
• Proven experience leading Ariba‑ERP integrations with SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC (CIG, web services, cXML, APIs).
• Strong understanding of procure‑to‑pay (P2P) and source‑to‑contract (S2C) processes and controls.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, mentorship, and ability to manage complex enhancement projects.
