Security Manager

About the role

Broadway Support Services, an affiliate of a large US debt settlement company, is hiring a Security Manager in Santo Domingo. The role leads the security process, aligns policies and procedures and manages the guarding vendor so that operations are safe and compliant. It works closely with the Front Desk on access control and badges.

Key responsibilities

• Own the security process: policy, standard operating procedures, incident response, investigations and reporting.
• Liaise with the guarding vendor on rosters, post orders, training and performance reviews.
• Coordinate CCTV monitoring, access control and badge issuance with the Front Desk.
• Conduct risk assessments and drills, and ensure compliance with life-safety and security standards.
• Manage incident logs and ledgers, ensuring escalation and closure of cases.
• Deliver security awareness and onboarding briefings for employees and vendors.
• Ensure compliance audits and implement corrective actions for security gaps.
• Support emergency response coordination and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Decision rights include approving or adjusting guarding posts and rosters, restricting access or locking down areas during incidents, and authorising escalations to law enforcement or corporate security.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years in corporate security or protective services, with vendor management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; equivalent experience with recognised certifications may be considered.
• Knowledge of CCTV and access control operations and incident management.
• Strong communication and documentation discipline.
• Available Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00, with availability outside working hours for operational support, approvals or emergencies; onsite presence outside hours only when necessary.
