Sales Manager - Tobacco

About the role

MSH has partnered with a leaf tobacco processor in Santiago de los Caballeros, part of a publicly traded multinational tobacco group with more than 100 years in the industry. The company is building its commercial team and is looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth in the Dominican market. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will win new customers, expand existing accounts and help shape how the team sells.

Key responsibilities

• Grow sales in the local market by winning new customers and expanding existing accounts
• Build strong, long-term relationships with cigar manufacturers and tobacco buyers
• Bring product expertise (wrapper, binder and filler) to every client conversation
• Track pipeline, sales results and KPIs and report progress to the Sales Director
• Support the execution of the commercial strategy
• Represent the company with integrity in every customer relationship

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in the tobacco or premium cigar industry
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
• Based in Santiago or willing to relocate
• Integrity is non-negotiable: a track record of ethical, transparent business practices

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of leaf tobacco: wrapper, binder and filler, quality, fermentation and aging
• A strong network with local manufacturers is a plus
