Retail Marketing Specialist

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is looking for a Retail Marketing Specialist in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The role bridges consumer insights and retail environment (RE) strategies to drive demand and sustainable sales growth across key channels such as Minisupers and pharmacies. You will define and monitor 5P execution (Product, Price, Placement, Promotion, People), track channel performance and co-create promotional strategies with Sales and Customer Marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term Retail Environment strategies for Minisuper and pharmacy channels, using shopper and market trends.
• Define, monitor and analyze 5P execution by channel to optimize product positioning, pricing, shelf presence and promotional effectiveness.
• Partner with Field Sales, Customer Marketing and Customer Development Teams to align shopper plans, set targets and meet channel priorities.
• Take part in monthly business reviews to evaluate volume, net sales, gross-to-net, trade spend and margins, and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Use category management tools and shopper insights to build efficient promotional plans and maximize baseline sales.
• Act as an internal consultant and external partner, building trust-based relationships across sales, marketing and commercial leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of commercial, trade marketing, customer marketing or sales experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
• Intermediate to advanced English.
• Preferred: experience managing trade strategies in Minisuper and pharmacy channels, and a proven track record in retail environment execution and point-of-sale activations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides).
