Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent will join AF DMC’s on‑site team in Punta Cana, handling bookings for airport transfers, excursions, group events and related services. The position starts as part‑time until October and will transition to full‑time, providing essential support to ensure a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and emails from clients and partner agencies promptly.
• Confirm availability, rates and policies for transfers, tours and group activities.
• Enter, modify and update reservation details in internal reservation software.
• Coordinate with operations, resort and supplier teams to guarantee accurate service delivery.
• Provide clear information on services, rates and policies, and handle guest inquiries and changes.
• Resolve reservation issues efficiently while maintaining organized records.
• Meet response‑time and accuracy standards and collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless program execution.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing reservations, including booking, modifying and canceling services.
• Excellent phone etiquette and receptionist abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in Punta Cana.
• Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfortable using reservation software, email and office productivity tools.
• Highly organized, reliable and able to manage multiple requests in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous hospitality, travel or tourism experience preferred.
