Quality Technician II

About the role

Integer is a global manufacturer of medical device technology and high-end niche batteries, serving medical device OEMs and markets such as energy, military and environmental. As a Quality Technician II, you will ensure or establish controls for products and processes that meet customer and regulatory requirements, maintain and improve quality systems, and carry out your responsibilities with little to no supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Compile or complete quality records, reports and documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Participate in problem solving and give input on process and product evaluations for continuous improvement
• Use equipment, keep it calibrated, and may repair, modify or maintain it
• Perform inspections according to specifications and quality standards, and suggest improvements to work instructions
• Set up and run tests per procedure or engineering direction; may do failure analysis and troubleshooting
• Expand skills through on-the-job training, cross-training and classroom instruction, and may train others
• Support other departments with data and analysis, and escalate quality non-conformances
• Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to corrective and preventive actions and quality KPIs

Required profile

• Preferred: high school graduate or equivalent; associate degree or technical experience preferred
• Preferred: 2 years of Integer experience or 3 years in a related manufacturing industry
• An associate degree may substitute for years of experience

Required skills

• Understanding of GD&T; understanding of ISO9001/ISO13485 preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
• Experience using measurement tools and hand gages (pin gage, caliper, optical comparator)
• Computer operation skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, with good communication skills
