Quality Inspector III – Complex Circuit Board Inspection

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Inspector III to perform complex visual inspections on medium to large, double‑sided circuit boards and assemblies. The role ensures that products meet stringent quality standards before shipment and at final production stages.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intricate visual inspections of pre‑ship and finished assemblies, selecting appropriate inspection methods (first article, sampling, 100%).
• Verify machine set‑up and read relevant documentation and reference materials.
• Apply electrical principles and Jabil Quality Control Standards to determine pass/fail outcomes.
• Access customer quality inspection systems, communicate issues, and perform post‑pack audits and in‑process inspections.
• Identify root causes of defects and coordinate corrective actions with manufacturing facilitators.
• Act as the final checkpoint for finished goods prior to shipment.
• Train colleagues on quality control processes and ensure parts conform to customer standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with complex circuit board inspection and quality control.
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles and ability to interpret quality standards.
• Proficiency in using Windows‑based computer systems and Jabil software packages.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, capable of defining problems, collecting data, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Effective communication skills for presenting information to managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with standardized procedures.
