Quality Engineer IV

About the role

Jabil is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to lead Workcell Quality Operations or NPI teams, ensuring product quality meets company, customer and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and maintain quality evaluation and control plans for processing materials into finished products.
• Lead investigations of quality discrepancies, develop corrective actions, and manage CAPA processes.
• Own validation activities, including development, approval and execution, in compliance with ISO 13485 and CFR 21 Part 820.
• Supervise, train and mentor Quality Engineers, Inspectors and Technicians, and manage internal supplier and third‑party audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least seven years of relevant experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CFR 21 Part 820 and Jabil problem‑solving methods.
• Excellent problem‑solving, negotiation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Expert use of Minitab and other quality statistical tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and electronic components.
