Quality Engineer I

About the role

The Quality Engineer I provides technical support to the Quality function, ensuring that manufacturing performance and product quality meet company, customer and regulatory standards. This entry‑level position assists with investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update control plans and protocols for material processing.
• Support inspection, testing processes and conduct quality assurance tests.
• Assist in quality system audits, identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions.
• Validate and qualify processes, equipment and systems.
• Manage change controls related to customers, suppliers and internal modifications.
• Complete corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and support investigation of customer complaints.
• Promote safety, quality programs and embody company values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, computer science, MIS or related field (preferred).
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training.
• Strong customer service and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions, work additional hours when needed and travel up to 20%.

Required skills

• Knowledge of control plans and inspection/testing procedures.
• Experience with quality audits and corrective action (CAPA) processes.
• Familiarity with validation and qualification of processes and equipment.
