Quality Assistant

About the role

The Quality Assistant will support the quality supervisor or engineer in data collection, analysis and execution of quality projects within a manufacturing environment. This entry‑level position is ideal for a university student in engineering or business administration seeking hands‑on experience in quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly quality reports for the assigned area.
• Support the implementation and compliance of EQS procedures such as non‑conforming material handling, CAPA, MSA, Control Plans, PFMEA, supplier quality, PPAP, etc.
• Conduct time‑study, work‑method and capacity analyses, including MSA and process capability studies.
• Assist in 8D, A3 and other problem‑solving tools for internal, customer or supplier quality issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date work instructions, control plans, PFMEA and related documentation.
• Support scrap control, quality alerts and root‑cause analysis during audits.
• Help Green Belt teams with Six Sigma projects by gathering data, creating charts and control reports.
• Participate in EHS training, 5S/MESH compliance and safety observations.

Required profile

• University student in Engineering or Business Administration with at least 120 approved credits.
• Minimum six months experience in manufacturing or administrative support.
• Basic English proficiency.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with MSA, CAPA, PFMEA, PPAP and Lean tools.
• Understanding of Six Sigma methodology.
