Project Manager Engineering – CEE Region

About the role

As a Project Manager Engineering you will lead technical planning, contractor selection and project execution for ALPLA plants across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. You will work closely with plant engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and maintenance teams to deliver reliable plant infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical specifications based on project requirements and internal/international standards.
• Plan technical solutions and plant setups, including buildings, energy, cooling water, compressed air, machinery and upstream/downstream equipment.
• Create CAD layouts for new plants, expansions and adaptations.
• Manage tendering processes and select suppliers for infrastructure and construction works.
• Oversee installation and change execution following ALPLA’s project management guidelines.
• Ensure infrastructure acceptance across the CEE region.
• Collaborate with local, regional and global technical counterparts.

Required profile

• First work experience in mechanical engineering or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of technical aspects of various equipment types.
• Experience in installation management.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time within Europe.
• Hands‑on mindset with pragmatic decision‑making.
