Project Lead – Lean Initiatives (Bajos de Haina)

About the role

Arjo is looking for a Project Lead to coordinate and implement Lean initiatives at its plant in Bajos de Haina, San Cristóbal. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, supporting project management activities, and fostering a culture of operational excellence within a healthcare manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and track Lean projects and other improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Project and Lean Manager.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping, root‑cause analysis, and workshops to identify waste and redesign processes.
• Promote daily management, visual controls, and standard work to sustain transformation.
• Measure and report KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and checklists aligned with Lean principles.
• Provide regular progress reports to project managers, monitor schedules, and manage scope changes.
• Build problem‑solving capability across the organization and ensure ownership of improvements.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Kaizen facilitation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of MS Project software (preferred).
• Understanding of TPM concepts (preferred).
