Professional Driver (Chauffeur) – Punta Cana & Santo Domingo

About the role

Transekur owns its vehicles and employs its drivers, so the company that booked a traveller is the one that arrives. It is looking for professional drivers to drive company vehicles in company uniform on GPS-logged trips coordinated by dispatch, serving passengers arriving at airports, hotels or addresses. The position is always open for qualified drivers living in or near Punta Cana or Santo Domingo.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles in company uniform on GPS-logged trips coordinated by dispatch.
• Meet guests at the airport, hotel or address with their name displayed and handle their luggage with care.
• Inspect the vehicle with an operations auxiliary before it leaves the base.
• Follow the operating manual: seat belt on, phone off while driving, no alcohol at work, company speed limits.

Required profile

• Valid Dominican driving licence for passenger transport, with a clean record.
• At least three years of driving and customer-service experience.
• Fluent English, which is mandatory for every role at Transekur.
• Presentable appearance and availability for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Living in or near Punta Cana or Santo Domingo.

What we offer

• Induction, road-regulation training and the operating manual before the first assignment.
• Company vehicles, including fully electric Volvo XC40 Recharge SUVs, maintained and inspected by the company.
• A dispatch team that follows every trip, day and night.
