Production Scheduler – Manufacturing Planning

About the role

The Production Scheduler supports the planning and manufacturing area by coordinating daily manufacturing orders, ensuring they are released, tracked, and closed on time. You will work closely with production lines, the master scheduler, and material teams to keep the ERP system accurate and drive on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and manufacturing area, coordinating daily Manufacturing Orders (MOs) from release to closure.
• Maintain and update the ERP system for assigned production lines.
• Enter data and generate daily reports on order status and shortfalls.
• Monitor, review, and release production orders to meet line schedules.
• Use ERP/MRP tools to determine promised dates, set priorities, and track Schedule Compliance metrics.
• Identify and resolve delays, lead root‑cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in daily manufacturing meetings and communicate issues promptly to the master scheduler.
• Follow EHS guidelines, attend safety training, and comply with 5S/MESH standards.

Required profile

• University student in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field with at least 120 approved credits.
• Minimum six months experience in manufacturing or operational support.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply‑chain concepts.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using AS400 systems.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP platforms for production planning.
