Production Scheduler - 1st Shift

About the role

The Production Scheduler supports the planning and manufacturing area by coordinating, tracking, and expediting daily manufacturing orders (MOs) from release to closure. The role ensures ERP data for assigned lines is up‑to‑date and generates daily reports.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and release production orders to meet line schedules.
• Create short‑interval reports for released orders to inform the materials team.
• Use the ERP/MRP system to determine promised dates, set priorities, and extract information.
• Track order execution on lines using the Schedule Compliance metric.
• Maintain accurate dates for manufacturing orders on assigned lines.
• Identify and resolve delays, lead root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in daily manufacturing meetings and communicate issues to the master scheduler.
• Attend safety, health, and environmental trainings and comply with 5S/MESH standards.

Required profile

• University student in Engineering or Business Administration with at least 120 approved credits.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and AS400.
• Understanding of manufacturing and supply‑chain processes.
• Minimum six months experience in manufacturing or operational support.
• Strong planning, metric, and indicator management skills.
• Availability for first‑shift work (Monday‑Friday, 6:40 am – 3:50 pm).
