Production Operator – Manufacturing Line

About the role

Join Medline's manufacturing team in La Romana as an Operator I, responsible for running converting and packaging equipment to produce high‑quality wipes and related products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate converting line equipment to load, thread, cut, fold, saturate, and stack various cloth materials.
• Run packaging equipment, loading and threading film and labels to create complete wipe packages.
• Manage automated pick‑and‑place boxing lines, load boxes onto skids, shrink‑wrap, and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
• Perform cleaning, hand‑packing, and other support activities for manufacturing.
• Read and follow equipment procedures, set up machines safely, and adjust processes to meet quality specifications.
• Monitor machine performance, document product attributes, and involve maintenance when needed.
• Maintain product quality awareness and adjust processes within specifications.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read charts, indicators, and operator checklists in English.
• Basic math skills, including fractional and decimal calculations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in warm or cold environments.

Required skills
