Production Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Operator ensures that manufacturing plans are followed and that the production line runs efficiently. This role is responsible for executing front‑end processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting equipment upkeep in a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow production plans and internal work instructions while complying with safety and EHS regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control for the manufacturing unit.
• Prepare wafers, components, or semi‑products and monitor hand‑stock levels.
• Process components or products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform basic machine setup and, when required, CNC or SPS programming.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians or external service providers to resolve equipment issues.
• Report any failures or dysfunctions to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to execute tasks as instructed and follow established procedures.
• Awareness of and adherence to workplace safety and environmental regulations.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and cooperate with maintenance teams.
