Process Engineer II – Plastic Manufacturing

About the role

The Process Engineer II – Plastic Manufacturing will develop and improve plastic processes to meet quality standards while minimizing cost. You will support transferred projects, corporate initiatives, and detailed process analysis to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve plastic processes to meet quality standards at the lowest possible cost.
• Support transferred projects from other facilities and implement them in the plastic area.
• Assist corporate plastic projects as needed.
• Analyze process data to identify root causes and establish corrective actions.
• Maintain and update operational procedures and manufacturing sequences for plastic parts.
• Purchase, develop, and maintain equipment, tools, and fixtures for injection molding and extrusion.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain equipment and resolve quality issues.
• Support the Process Production Data Collection system and suggest process improvements.
• Perform process validations and implement appropriate changes.
• Apply project management principles to all process changes.
• Provide support to Quality Improvement Plans focusing on preventive quality.
• Assist in local and divisional engineering projects under supervision.
• Implement small‑scope value improvement projects and support non‑conformance investigations and audits.
