Primary School Teacher (Sub Teacher)

About the role

The Sub Teacher will plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning experiences for primary school students, supporting their academic, social, emotional and personal development in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the primary academic programme, ensuring effective curriculum delivery and innovative, student‑centred teaching practices.
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the primary teaching team, leading pedagogical meetings and supporting professional development.
• Monitor students’ progress, implement support strategies for diverse learning needs and manage behaviour and wellbeing initiatives.
• Maintain timely communication with parents, participate in meetings and address concerns.
• Prepare academic reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required locally.
• Minimum teaching experience in primary education; experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management, instructional skills and knowledge of child development.
• Effective communication, collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous professional development.
