About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Preschool Assistant to join TreeHouse DR School in Santo Domingo, working with children ages 1–3. The role supports teachers in daily activities, implements educational programs, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment. The position is part‑time, Monday‑Thursday 7:20 am‑2:00 pm and Friday 7:20 am‑3:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and carrying out age‑appropriate activities.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supervise children to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff as part of a supportive team.
Required profile
- Currently studying Education or Psychology.
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability.
- English proficiency is advantageous.
