Paralegal – Full‑time Legal Support

About the role

The Paralegal will join FORLEX Firma Consultora’s legal team in Santo Domingo, providing full‑time on‑site support to attorneys and consultants. The role involves preparing legal documents, conducting regulatory research, and maintaining accurate case files. You will also assist with administrative tasks for legal projects and help improve internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, proofread and organise contracts, reports, and formal correspondence for various legal matters.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research, summarise findings and prepare briefing notes for internal use.
• Maintain and update case files, track deadlines, and manage filing requirements to ensure compliance.
• Review documents for accuracy, verify compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to collect information and support the preparation of presentations and legal opinions.
• Assist in tracking regulatory filings and ensure timely submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with proven ability to proofread and verify legal documents.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish; working knowledge of English is a plus.
• Organisational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple matters and strict deadlines.
• Prior experience in a law firm or consulting environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional, client‑focused setting.
