Operations Service Manager – PUJ Airport

About the role

The Operations Service Manager (OSM) leads the Airport Customer Service team at PUJ, ensuring safe, on‑time and high‑quality service for passengers and partners. Reporting to the Station Manager, the OSM acts as the primary liaison between Delta and its contracted business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and support Airport Customer Service personnel in daily and non‑routine operations.
• Provide leadership to vendor and partner employees, front‑line and operations teams.
• Oversee operational performance metrics such as safety, D‑Zero on‑time departures and Aircraft Turn Time (ATT).
• Coordinate activities across catering, fueling, maintenance, ramp, passenger services, security and safety.
• Maintain communication with Delta management, local authorities and government agencies.
• Lead emergency response activation and manage passenger complaints and insurance claims.
• Support employee evaluations, development and all managerial functions.
• Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans that promote a safety‑focused environment.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to live and work in the Dominican Republic (no visa sponsorship).
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work long, variable hours in a fast‑changing environment.
• Strong multitasking capability and analytical mindset.
• Proven leadership experience in airport or logistics operations.
