About the role

FL Technics is looking for a motivated apprentice to join its aircraft structure maintenance team in Punta Cana. The role offers hands‑on experience in inspecting, repairing and sealing aircraft metal structures within a global MRO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of aircraft structures.
• Carry out sheet‑metal repairs including drilling, cutting and riveting.
• Remove and install structural panels and components.
• Eliminate corrosion and prepare surfaces for repair.
• Apply sealants and execute structural sealing tasks.
• Read and interpret technical documentation such as SRM, AMM and engineering drawings.
• Use manual and pneumatic tools while adhering to safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma completed.
• Basic experience with metal work, automotive bodywork or mechanical tasks.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation.
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to learn in an MRO environment.

Required skills

• Operation of drills.
• Use of rivet guns.
• Metal cutting.
• Grinding and sanding.
• Interpretation of technical manuals and drawings.
