Mathematics Teacher

About the role

LAM School International is seeking a full‑time Mathematics Teacher to join its on‑site faculty in Santo Domingo Este. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that align with the school’s curriculum for the assigned grade levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
• Identify individual learning needs and provide differentiated instruction.
• Assess student progress, give constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and participate in staff meetings.
• Communicate regularly with families about student performance.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment and uphold school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or authorization.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience delivering individualized math instruction for the relevant grades.
• Strong classroom management abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in teaching mathematics concepts appropriate to the grade level.
