Material Handler Associate II

About the role

The Material Handler Associate II ensures the orderly movement of raw materials and finished goods within a manufacturing environment. The role includes visual inspection of materials, operating equipment to meet production schedules, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of incoming and outgoing materials for visible damage.
• Operate PIT equipment to move material promptly in line with production requirements.
• Record material movements in the ERP system.
• Maintain housekeeping and stage raw or finished goods in designated inventory locations.

Required profile

• Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods.
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications.
• Works on routine assignments that may require problem resolution.
• Follows clearly defined standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
• Works under moderate supervision with regular review of output.
• Refers complex or unusual problems to a supervisor.
