Master Production Scheduler

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to drive efficient production planning across its global manufacturing network. You will partner with demand, production, and supply chain teams to ensure the right mix of products is produced on time while minimizing excess inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Stock Transport Orders between plants and distribution centers to align weekly output with the S&OP plan.
• Collaborate with Demand Managers to define product mix, support new product introductions, and create phase‑out plans that limit excess and obsolete inventory.
• Work with Production & Inventory Control Managers to balance short‑term and long‑term capacity, reducing past‑due orders and overtime.
• Coordinate with Production Control Analysts to align manufacturing orders with material and capacity availability.
• Maintain global safety stock and targeted finished‑goods inventory levels using the materials planning playbook.
• Develop and communicate a monthly Supply Plan covering an 18‑month horizon for assigned product families.
• Partner with global DMI, regional logistics, and OEM planners to address market constraints and support key market projects.
• Track and report master‑schedule performance indicators, suggest improvements, and monitor actual performance against the MPS and production plan.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage complex production schedules and inventory balances.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with demand, production, and logistics teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement of scheduling processes.
