Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician provides hands‑on technical expertise to keep facility equipment, buildings and systems running efficiently in a cGMP‑validated environment. The role combines preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance while supporting after‑hours emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical troubleshooting on a variety of equipment and operating modalities (EO, E‑Beam, Gamma).
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on high‑volume validated processing equipment.
• Review and improve maintenance tasks, applying Lean and 5S principles.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and maintain electrical systems, lighting, wiring and fixtures.
• Conduct safety and maintenance inspections and complete GMP‑compliant documentation.
• Support production by responding to after‑hours calls on a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Maintain the spare‑parts inventory and CMMS records.
• Service HVAC and building climate‑control systems.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks requiring strength and endurance.
• Experience working in a regulated (cGMP) manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of Lean, 5S, LOTO and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a rotating 24‑hour on‑call team.
