Maintenance Spare Parts Technician I – Entry Level

About the role

This entry‑level position supports the maintenance department by managing, handling, recording and organizing spare parts. Working under constant supervision, you will ensure parts are available, accurately tracked and delivered to technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, supply and record spare parts movements in the system.
• Perform cycle counts, report discrepancies and keep the warehouse clean, organized and properly labeled.
• Locate and deliver parts requested by maintenance technicians.
• Generate and follow up basic purchase requisitions from creation to receipt.
• Verify received material against requests and update inventory records.
• Monitor consumption, support purchase order generation and assist in identifying new part sources.
• Maintain technical manuals and spare‑parts catalog library.
• Support machine support activities during line moves, installations or asset transfers.
• Adhere to safety, health and environmental policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 0–1 year experience in warehouse operations, inventory management or maintenance‑related areas.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical or industrial components.
• Ability to calculate part quantities and follow simple instructions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a personal computer running Windows.
• Basic PC and spreadsheet handling skills.
