Logistics Supervisor – Inbound/Outbound & International Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to lead daily inbound, outbound, international and domestic shipment operations, ensuring timely, cost‑effective delivery while maintaining compliance with customs and transportation regulations. The role collaborates with carriers, freight forwarders, vendors, internal teams and customs platforms to resolve issues and continuously improve logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities, including shipment planning, scheduling, tracking and delivery follow‑up.
• Oversee inbound, outbound, international and domestic shipments to guarantee accurate execution.
• Coordinate pickups, routing, delivery appointments and shipment status with carriers, freight forwarders, vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor and resolve shipment exceptions such as delays, damages, missing information or carrier issues.
• Manage carrier claims for damaged, lost or missing cargo, handling documentation and follow‑up.
• Prepare, review and maintain shipping documentation, customs paperwork, invoices and compliance records.
• Handle import/export compliance, including HTS codes, duties, taxes and related permits.
• Support creation of purchase orders, sales orders and transfer orders for global facilities.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs, improve delivery performance and streamline logistics processes.
• Provide guidance to logistics team members and act as an escalation point for shipment‑related issues.
• Track logistics performance and report updates to leadership as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, freight forwarding or import/export operations.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role, including leading, training or coaching staff.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
• Solid understanding of import/export procedures, customs documentation and compliance requirements.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to review documentation, identify issues quickly and follow through to resolution.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
