Lead HR Generalist – Dominican Republic Manufacturing

About the role

Rockwell Automation seeks a Lead HR Generalist for its Dominican Republic campus to join the leadership team, providing strategic HR input, employee engagement, change management, and organizational design support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on HR services with a strong service orientation.
• Lead by example, partnering with plant leadership and HR teams.
• Navigate complex organizational situations and adapt HR strategies accordingly.
• Provide consultative coaching, counseling, and relationship building both internally and externally.
• Ensure compliance with Dominican Republic labor regulations and support collective bargaining negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in psychology, business administration, industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 + years experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• 5 + years experience in compensation, benefits, performance management, employee development, organizational development, change management and employee relations.
• Full bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) and deep knowledge of DR labor law and recent reforms.
• Experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements with unions.

Required skills

• Workday or similar HRIS expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Dominican Republic labor legislation.
