Junior Systems Engineer

About the role

NTI is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to provide technical support to U.S.-based clients. The role involves troubleshooting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and basic networking issues while communicating directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone or remote access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows computers, software, peripherals, and networking components.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and time worked in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex problems to Level 2 support or appropriate teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional IT support experience.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical users.
• Customer‑first attitude and ability to work independently in a hybrid schedule.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 and Office application support.
• Active Directory administration.
• VPN configuration and basic networking knowledge.
• Antivirus, anti‑spam, and backup solution management.
• Network printer setup and troubleshooting.
