Junior Civil Engineer

About the role

Elemento Ingeniería is looking for a motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join its team in San Cristóbal. You will support the technical department in designing, reviewing and documenting civil infrastructure projects while gaining hands‑on experience in the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and review of civil engineering projects, preparing drawings, technical memos and cost estimates.
• Participate in work planning, monitor schedules and coordinate activities with suppliers and other technical profiles.
• Collect and analyse field data, produce reports and ensure quality control of executed works.
• Support budgeting and cost‑control activities for assigned projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of civil engineering design principles and fundamentals.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of storm‑water management and urban hydraulic design criteria.
• Willingness to work night shifts and travel to other provinces when required.
• Own vehicle is preferred.
