Jr. Service Delivery Specialist

About the role

The Junior Service Delivery Specialist supports end‑users with Tier 1 IT issues and manages the lifecycle of IT assets. The role balances direct user assistance with maintaining an accurate, audit‑ready inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Tier 1 support tickets (password resets, software installs, peripheral troubleshooting, connectivity issues) and document each step using a standard ticket note structure.
• Provide proactive status updates for tickets open longer than four hours and use AI tools (Gemini, Claude) to research solutions before escalation.
• Manage the IT asset inventory: tag new equipment, record transactions by serial number, conduct weekly physical audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Generate purchase orders when stock reaches reorder points, receive shipments, verify deliveries, and ensure the storage area remains secure and organized.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in IT (in progress or completed) or related field preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in IT support, warehouse operations, logistics, or similar roles; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and process‑driven with clear written and verbal communication in Spanish; English proficiency a plus.

Required skills

• Basic Windows OS usage (file management, settings, account operations).
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with ticketing/ITSM systems (e.g., ManageEngine) and barcode/QR scanning tools.
• Experience using AI assistance tools (Gemini, Claude) for troubleshooting.
