About the role

Majestic Resorts is seeking a Head of Animation to lead the recreational and entertainment program at its upscale hotel in Bávaro‑Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The role involves designing, planning and delivering a diverse range of activities that create memorable experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the full schedule of sports, artistic and recreational events for guests.
• Coordinate special events with other departments such as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Human Resources.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, tools and venues used by the animation team.
• Handle administrative tasks including attendance lists, staffing guides, purchase requisitions and work orders.
• Participate in recruitment, training, performance evaluation and talent development for the animation department.
• Monitor and follow up on planned programs, supervising the team to ensure successful execution.
• Contribute to projects, certifications and institutional programs as required by senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Tourism, Administration, Communication or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in animation or entertainment management.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Dynamic, customer‑oriented attitude with strong planning and communication abilities.
