Java Backend Engineer – FinTech

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Java Backend Engineer to join our FinTech team. You will work on cutting‑edge digital acceleration projects for large enterprises and public organisations, contributing to our ambitious Hiperespacio 2029 strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Integrate and manage relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and non‑relational databases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary, agile teams to deliver projects on time.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and experience with .NET/C#.
• Familiarity with the FinTech sector.
• Effective communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
