International Regional Business Development Manager (CEE)

About the role

The International Regional Business Development Manager for the Central & Eastern European (CEE) region will support Lockheed Martin's MFC division in delivering its regional strategy. Reporting to the MFC International Business Development Director, the role focuses on building relationships, understanding customer priorities, and enabling the capture of key defence programmes across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Support MFC lines of business to achieve regional win targets and deliver the CEE strategy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with armed forces, defence ministries, finance ministries, diplomatic corps and US Embassy staff in each country.
• Gather and communicate customer insights to business development leads, program managers and senior executives.
• Participate in strategy workshops and stakeholder‑mapping sessions to shape business development plans.
• Represent Lockheed Martin at conferences, trade shows and industry events to showcase capabilities and deepen market understanding.
• Contribute to the creation of effective growth strategies for Lockheed Martin and MFC in the CEE market.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the defence or aerospace sector.
• Strong knowledge of the Central & Eastern European defence landscape and key decision‑makers.
• Ability to communicate complex customer requirements to internal stakeholders.
• Experience engaging with senior government officials, military leaders and diplomatic representatives.
• Willingness to travel across the region and represent the company at high‑visibility events.
